I became a personal trainer because I wanted to help people get healthy. But the more time I spent in the fitness industry, the clearer it became: most of what we're taught about bodies, food, and exercise is built on a foundation of shame.

Clients would come to me having already failed six diets, convinced their willpower was broken. I watched brilliant, capable women spend years of energy hating their bodies instead of living in them.

I decided to do things differently.
